This time I use the dark brown which I had not used before and it is pretty, but I was hoping for more translucency to the bone but it was darker that I had anticipated. I did have to build up the thickness on the sides of the tang by using contrasting white, black, white handle spacers to raise the top of the bone to the level of the fiber rings at the end of the handle and also create more interest in the knife itself.
The sheath is an made by me; hand cut, hand stitched, riveted etc. It is made to fit this knife and it has a nice snug fit.
I will have another Western (#628) Bird and Trout to show off soon. Just need to etch my name on it and get some pictures.
I hope y'all enjoy the pictures and have a good weekend!
