Fake tourist armyknife or the real thing?

Hi again,

have to ask one thing since I`m a total novice on American knives.

This is not my knife (yet anyway) but is this an army Camillus or some fake sold to tourists in the far east? Tang stamp with date.

Perhaps this thread should have been i the other room, I dont suspekt it to be a fake though, just wanted to know to be sure.

looks like a real nam era knife to me.

looks real to me...
same year i joined... ...never volunteer.
the dates on those knives make all the difference in value...the war years are top dollar...'specially the 1941-45. the nam years are still coming up in price...for military collectors...not so much knife people...

Guess there´s a lot of them around then in the United states. Here they are somewhat exotic, never seen one before so I became a bit curious. Perhaps a good userknife.

actually, i believe one like that is collectible now. anything pre 1972, war era are more valuable at auction. so.......or would make an excellent user, from experience.

Does this knife have a leather punch? I can't tell from the photos. If it is military issue it should have a punch.

CAMCO, I cant say if it has a leather punch or not, I dont have it here. I find it an interesting knife though, even if its not what I usually collects or uses.
