What is Your Latest Old Camillus? (pre-1960)

I still do not believe that carbon steel could have maintained such brilliance for 100 years, if it is not lay 100 years in a barrel of oil.
In addition, the obvious signs of regrind continue to confuse me.
I apologize for skepticism, if I'm wrong.

There are not many,but they are out there.The topic knife was in a factory collection,so it likely was well cared for.I have bought a few 80-100 year old knives off EBay and wondered it they just laid in some old guys sock draw for ever.

gsmith and vit-213... no problem... these days you have to be skeptical or you might end up loosing your egg money.... I seen a few times I wish I would have been a little more skeptical..but that's comes with buying and trading...... I will be posting some more pieces and looking forward to joining in on some of the conversations. Nice site and a lot of nice pieces and knowledge being shared.. Tom

Looks like some of the Sword Brand etch remains on the blade.

Roger did you see the one last week on Ebay, etched and marked Star Feed Co.? I bid $450 on it and just got blown out of the water. It went for $650.
