I might add, I now use the "Drag & Drop" method exclusively for posting pictures. See it here; viewtopic.php?f=98&t=48417

I found these at a yard sale on Saturday, which is rare. I hope the pictures show.

Pete I'm going to leave your pictures where they are because it shows others posting pictures is possible even for new members. I have never seen a knife with the blade arrangement of the Boker in the second photo. I really like that setup with the cap lifter/screwdriver blade on that serpentine frame with a master clip and a secondary coping blade.

By the way, welcome to AAPK. ::welcome::

Is there an ideal file size to use when posting to AAPK? I feel that some of my photos appear to lose definition as they get larger.

Your browser will automatically shrink and compress images before they upload to AAPK. We use client-side resizing to improve upload speeds and save server storage. We make use of your browser's processing power to downscale high-resolution photos into more web-friendly dimensions (e.g., 1600x1200 or 1920x1080).

Hope that helps.

Thank you. I thought I was overloading the system with files that were too large. It’s one of the reasons I haven’t upgraded my cameras to full frame. The 60mp and up sensors overwhelm most computers.

not here, Bryan Sanders (site founder and the real wizard behind the curtain) has made it a priority that our subscription fees support as much storage as needed so we are in good shape.
