the value of a USA knife???

a few days or weeks ago and i cant remeber so if your the person messageme but someone either posted or like i said emailed me that a set price for any early USA made knife such as camillus,imperial,hammer brand etc should be 10$. i as a collector of those knives agree.i know thing slike condition and how many were made and so forth come into play but two thing sif your that person who said that or emailed me let me know.i would like to talk further.

also WHAT IS YOUR OPINION FAMILY?

That was me, not really a set price but I have really never seen an older USA made knife go for less than $10. If it did I would feel real happy about that purchace or my hands would be real dirty after clean'in it. Maybe in a group you could get maybe 5 nice oldies or so for 35$ But....for the most part I can find more than 10$ of use in any USA made knife. In this price range I would like to trade more so than sell. I wish so much we could all get together and swap knives, because we all have different types or directions we would like to keep are collection in/going. That hands on swapin is great fun and the talking and learning that goes along with a knife swap is something that is special. Theirs my 2 cents

Something that does bother me is when I find a knife worth $10 and the guy wants 35$ .... with all the knife talk, alot of these guys think every old knife is like a REMINGTON BULLET or a Tested CASE. I will find myself explaining this but they look at you like they know you are lie'in to them, BUT IM NOT! Really it's worth example 10$ and I will give you 11$ nope no sell, but you know that knife has been their for years with all that case dust on it.
