The wife and I are headed to Houston this afternoon to spend the weekend. We usually hit some outdoor stores (REI, Sun N SKI, Academy), and their knife selections are pretty limited. Does anyone know of any better places for knives in the Galleria/Memorial Park area?
The Bass-Pro shops in Pearland and Katy are farther than we want to drive.
Any help will be appreciated.

Texas Knifemakers supply out to Beltway 8 West at Haddington is an interesting stop if you like to make or enjoy custom knives. Haven't been out there in several years so can't vouch for what you might find now.
