One of the Bulldog guys will have to vouch for the knife.....but, it is Sambar on the mark side in my opinion. The pile side could be OK, or it could be jigged and torched, it is sort of hard to tell from those pictures.

I feel the knife is legit.Bulldog made a serpentine 3 blade stockman with a club shield and stag handles. I have owned numerous Bulldogs and this one looks ok. I only collected 1st generation knives for the most part but I don't see anything wrong with this one other than it is not a 1st generation knife, but that is just my personal opinion. Good looking knife. All I have left in Bulldogs are 9 of the 1st generation Gunstock sets.
