Now Jerry, don't be upset, after the fellow got his deer he brought the gun back and sent it on to Houston. It probably has a thank you note in it.

Cody, Go down to your post office, ask to see the postmaster and then ask him to see if he can send a message to the "holding" PO to tickle them into looking for it.

A possibility is that your package arrived in a large bin, got set to the side for "repackaging" and just misplaced.

Post Offices don't actually scan all packages when they come in - they scan in a big rolling tub. All packages associated with that tub are then tagged as being in that facility. When they unload the packages from the tub THEN individual packages are scanned as being accepted by the facility.

If the final destination for a particular package is NOT that P.O., it is set aside for dumping into another tub to be sent on. Sometimes those packages that are set temporarily aside sometimes get overlooked. Sometimes they don't get scanned out when dumped into a tub and so the package goes missing until it finally gets somewhere that it gets scanned again to update the system.

Looks like they finally found the Kutmaster. It's out for delivery; but I'm snowed in right now (but the mailboxes are a quarter-mile away, at the end of state maintenance, on a road that is kept plowed

I was looking for a GEC, when I noticed one of their dealers (TSA Knives) had several Queens at decent prices, including this Q-Tac 4 with an ATS-34 blade for $30. I liked the size and specs, so I got one, even though the handles are ugly. 4" closed (which I find is the perfect size for a knife, lockback; ATS-34 steel, G-10 scales, and a clip (which I'm thinking about just removing since I realyl don't like the looks of it).

With Christmas money will come another purchase, the stag "Hawbaker" Muskrat.

Took a chance on this ebay lot for the opening bid of 9 dollars so I'm into it for 14. Interested in the coke bottle, it looks like it has some age to it and almost a hand made look. We shall see

Nice vintage pick up there Colonel26, that knife would be a nice addition to any collection I believe. I have grown to favor those equal end knives myself and that one is a dandy. ::tu::

One of my best friends gave me an 055 for my birthday a few years ago. I carried it until I broke the end off the blade while doing something stupid. Sent it to Buck along with my $10 and got it back, good as new. Put it away and don't carry it anymore. It's small (compared to a 110) but it's a very nice knife. You're going to like it.
