Repair A.Wingen Jr lerverlock

Hi all! Im going to restore this A.Wingen Jr leverlock, and
I wondring about the pins in front and back. Should a take
brass pins or silver pins? A am happy for coments and tips ::ds::

I believe these knives typically have steel pins so that is what I would opt for. With repairs like this I use carbon steel nails and turn them down to size on a belt grinder if needed for the proper fit.
If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.

use steel for durability.

The pivot pin needs to be a tight fit in the blade hole. Both pins should be steel.

WTH happened to the pile side top bolster?
