New Case Shark Tooth flipper

Post by wazu013 »

The all-new Case is a sharp knife with an appetite for hard work. The sleek, 3 -1/2 inch stainless Clip blade, made from high performance S35VN steel alloy, opens smoothly and locks safety into the lightweight anodized aluminum frame with fingertip control. Ultra-durable black G-10 handle inlays, which feature strike lines as “gills” on one end, help insure a reliable grip while the compact pocket clip and keyhole-shaped lanyard hole offer easy access and custom carrying options. Just don’t keep it in your pocket too long - and definitely don’t allow it in the water. This Case® Shark Tooth® thrives on dry land.

The new Case® Shark Tooth® is available from Case authorized dealers nationwide in March.

Definitely unusual looking, that's for sure. I''d rather have had S35VN in a standard Shark Tooth. But, isn't this the first Case-made tactical they've offered in years?

Big market for flippers anymore, they should go over pretty good. Wonder if they are being made in the USA?

Was that a SHOT Show release today? Any word on price?

NM, just looked on the Case website and found it and several more SHOT Show releases. The Shark Tooth is made in the U.S.A. (Georgia) for Case by Southern Grind.

Also found these others released by Case today at SHOT. https://caseknives.com/blogs/news

Now I am excited about that trapper, I love the old remington style. Case had a long run before they finally caved and made a modern style folder, oh well.

I saw that too - hoping it was referring to the ones with abalone handle covers. ::mdm:: But if it’s in keeping with previous Tony Bose collaborations $450 wouldn’t surprise me. The only Case/Bose I have is a lock-back whittler my wife gave me. It is a work of art - materials, fit, finish, workmanship, and function worthy of the price.

That bull nose trapper is some kind of nice. Man! But I guess I’ll admire it from a far.

The speculative $550 price was for the Bullnose Trapper.

I haven’t seen any speculation about pricing on the Shark Tooth flipper. Per info on the Case website they’re made to Case specifications by Southern Grind in Georgia. Other Case/Southern Grind collaborations have MSRP around $200. Not sure that’s any indication but I’d be surprised if they are less. ::shrug::

No idea and I have not seen any speculation on either. These are all SHOT previews of coming releases. Here’s a link to the Case website. https://caseknives.com/blogs/news Now you know as much as I do. ::tu::
