Doglegg, I bought the knife used on ebay. When I got it the first thing that caught my attention was how clean it was. I'm assuming the seller cleaned it up a bit. When I opened the blades it was obvious that someone had boogered up the edges trying to use some kind of power tool to sharpen it. Fortunately they stopped before they destroyed the blades so I was able to sharpen the damage out with very little blade loss. There are still some sander marks on the blades but they're just "character" and don't detract from its usefulness. It has a shavin' edge on both blades now and I plan to give it a useful life in my EDC rotation.

Sharpened the abuse out of the blades on this one and toting it for a few days.

Is that the Camillus-built big (4 1/4") cigar jack? I've got some "abuse" on mine that probably can't be sharpened or buffed out, at least not for a long while... Still cuts like the dickens with that sweet Camillus carbon steel, though.

Probably even fewer using it how it was originally intended - I toted it for the early part of this week in tribute to the ER doc who identified a problem with my medication interacting with some flu meds I took which caused my chemistry to go way out of whack. It was a rough couple of weeks feeling like death warmed over but the doctor got me squared away and on a better prescription regimen, so I used the doc's knife to separate out the pills for the week after picking them up from the pharmacy, then decided to stick with it the next day because it's just a cool little knife.

GEC and Boker for my Wooden Wednesday totes.

Yep, it's the jumbo jack. I have a Camillus #23 that's the same size.
