Here’s one of my favorite little ones at 2 1/4” - “Chas Clements - London Retailer” - ca 1908-1917 - made in Sheffield but maker unknown... here’s a few photos and for those interested I started a thread under Knife Lore with more background and photos of the knife...

Longblade;that little multi-blade is exquisite! I did a post in one of the forums awhile back on miniatures but I can't seem to find it. I'll try and post up a few.

The three to the left are Richards, the Woodward’s is just ‘stainless rostfrie’ with a logo I don’t recognize and the little guy is ‘Imperial Mexico’
They are all under 2 1/2” closed. My babies!

What an absolute richness of baby knives! Raging envy!

Here’s the little one that followed me home today.
A6600A02-A614-4CA6-AF02-47ADE1EC12BD.jpeg
7FE81DCD-9482-4E45-BF2D-4B2AD326236E.jpeg
It’s actually prettier in person. The bail has Crest on it and the blades are unmarked. I don’t know if it’s actually gold but that seller just keeps a bowl of random, unpolished knives and it was clean as a whistle, no tarnish. I think of these as ‘spoon handle knives’ because of the shape and detail.

Could you please elaborate on what the 7th knife down is, It the sparkly looking one with the bail. It is right above the shoe. I would really appreciate it. I have the Identical knife with a case and sons tang stamp
but have never seen another one till now. Would you mind posting a pic with the blades open.
Thanks, Kerry

Kerry: I wish I knew who made it; ::shrug:: there is no stamp on the blades or the bail.I'll dig it out tomorrow and post a couple pictures of it open if you like.
