ULSTER newly acquired..

Post by Wbyonder »

Hey guys! I'm back...lol

Before Christmas I talked with a few of you on here! Learned alot from Phillip and Dennis, and many others about my collections and pick ups, and I truly just get lost in reading posts old and new ,and how kind and patient everyone here is, Ihope you all had wonderful holidays, I for one am done with traveling for awhile , glad too be back in my own chair! So I picked up a few knives over the holidays and after, excited to get some questions answered or opinions or better yet photos..hint,hint.
This first one is an Ulster, I found sailing the bay..it was rough looking but I hadn't seen one and it reminded me a little of some of my kabars.so it came to papa ,when it arrived it had bad staining, but it hadn't been sharpened, I just had polished it lightly didn't put it on the buffer..so here it is has a 45 pattern#? On pile side of main blade..

Nice serpentine stockman you have there, Wbyonder.

I have a serpentine jack that is maybe in the same frame size. 3 1/2". #40.
