Lot score

Post by cody6268 »

Thought I'd show off a lot I just won on eBay for $18 (actually under $10 without shipping) shipped. Usually, those cheap lots include beaters and junk for the most part, but in my personal opinion most of these knives are all in good condition.

Camillus TL-29 (failed to notice broken spring, thankfully I have a "few" spare Delrin-scaled 27s so it can be rebuilt, in retrospect, had I noticed that, I likely would not have bought the lot), Craftsman 9560 (scales show shrinkage, so pre-Delrin; as the junker one in my toolbag has woodgrain Delrin scales)

Good Klein 1550-4 hawkbill (if I didn't have enough of those already, which I do; about 4) and an Imperial Kamp King.

Also, they threw in a few assorted knives as a bonus.

A Kobalt utility knife (of the assorted utility knives I currently own, this design is my favorite, but they haven't made them in 10 years or more, so good to have a spare; and my grandmother likes mine, so guess this one is hers now), tw

o Craftsmans (they appear to be of a good design; these are going in my tool bags), a "Things Remembered" lockback (Japanese made, I think these were sold by a company that specialized in personalized goods) and a mini Craftsman utility knife (these I like to use as hobby knives for model building and the like) as well as a Taylor 72OT (whose wood scales look better than their poor attempt at the USA Old Timer scales).

I would think the bonus knives they added were worth what you shelled out for the knives and shipping, so yes, you did very well IMO. 8)
