WOW... What a package I just got from Roland (kootenay Joe)....!!
I opened the package so I could feel that sweet NEW (to me) 2 OT I have been waiting for. Well, as I opened the package I see another something wrapped up in bubble wrap laying right next to my 2 OT....

Roland sent me this really NICE old Schrade Sleeveboard folder. WOW... both knives are more than I expected!! I mean, here, I now have a knife I figured I might never own and right along with it came a really nice 2nd knife!!

Roland.... You are the MAN!!

KA-BOOM KA-BLAM KA-POW
Gentlemen, I humbly present to you the MOTHER OF ALL BOMBS which was dropped on me this past week by Gary/PCWizard.

This "bomb" is a testament to the amazing, almost unbelievable, generosity found among AAPK members.

The incredible story of this beautiful knife began many months ago when it was included in a knife swap between myself and Gary. I really liked this knife very much, so much so that prior to our trade deal I was seriously considering having it customized with ivory, my favorite handle material. But, as many knife collectors will understand, it's hard to resist a good swap opportunity. So, somewhat reluctantly, I traded it to Gary in exchange for another knife. (Although, I must admit I felt slightly guilty because I thought that I ended up getting the better end of the deal...which is not at all uncommon when dealing with fellow AAPK members, as most of you already know.)

Fast forward several months and out of nowhere, without any warning whatsoever, I receive this unexpected package in the mail bearing the most amazing contents: my beloved old I*XL which had been customized with ivory handles, a GEC leather pocket slip AND a very cool knives & razors CD. To say it blew my mind would be an understatement; I'm still in shock. I am utterly astounded. Suddenly, the world, with all its issues and problems, doesn't seem so bad after all. In fact, it's a glorious and magical place filled with kind and generous people like PCWizard who spread joy and bring happiness to others. I know I am not worthy of his unprecedented generosity, but it certainly causes me to resolve to try harder to be a better, kinder, more generous person myself.

It's not the same. Steve's is a '13' Speaker Jack (3-5/8") and yours, Floyd is a '62' Courthouse Whittler (3¾").

Thanks Jerry, I have a 13 whittler as well. Isn't that what the AAPK whittler knife was. I'll have to find the pic. Oops my bad, it is a 33.

All your targets are being hit boys! I think I have a big boomer to throw in. I got super, super, Super lucky on the bay a few day ago.
I picking up a few from https://www.ebay.com/usr/vintageknives he was accepting my best offers, ect. ect. I was scrolling down his listings of very nice older Imperials, Colonials, Sabre's, Ulsters, and somehow he got his hands on a very special Case. I was surprised he had this one, and he was asking not bad, then he took me best offer of $50 and wow am I happy. It is an 2006 CASE XX 610096 USA Ox Bone Tiny Toothpick. Not the whole story, she's an Bill Lewis Custom! He decked this one out to the max, on the special file work, Wow! What can i say, she hits the mark perfectly!
