New Chinese knife from Ruike (fenix)
Hey guys just picked up a Ruike knife (made by fenix lights) for $24. Wasn't expecting much from made in china knife.....Its darn near perfect. Flawless grinds and the flipper action is the most responsive Ive ever played with. It rides on ball bearings and came razor sharp with nice g 10 handles. I need to reconsider my stance on the quality of chinese knives these days. This is going to be the best beater knife for sure. I'm kinda shocked at the level of quality this thing oozes.

Good looking knife, Mark. Very nice grind on that blade.

Mark,
You certainly got a good-looking knife, at any price.
I keep reading of more & more people who, like you, have had good experiences with knives made in China. And fewer instances of bad experiences such as a finely finished knife that had a spring or blade that snapped. I think the Chinese are catching on, fast.
I've had more enjoyment lately from buying used knives, rather than new, & I'm currently using that as an excuse to not own a knife that was made in China, that I know of. But sooner or later....

I'm guessing my experiencing are mirroring everyone else.....20 years ago made in china was gas station specials sold at the 7 eleven counter for $2.99.
I'd just always assumed it would always be this way. I cannot stress enough how buttery smooth this thing flips and how nice and crisp the lock up is. Its downright scary. its smoother than by benchmades by a good margin. I'm not going to beat on it but rather carry it at work and not worry about it.

$30 right now Amazon Prime free shipping. I got mine for $24 at the local gun show. It may very well be the best $30 knife going right now. Makes my Rat 1 and 2 look boring. Way better than Spyderco tenacious also.
