Out of the mailbox, a few strokes on my ceramic stone, and straight into my pocket.
Thanks Steve. :D

This Viper Timeless just arrived today from our friend, Mark (Sharpnshinyknives). Thanks again, Mark!!

Real Blue Jay feathers, solid lockup, centered blade, smooth action, and feels great in the hand. Nice little knife.

Not technically a mail call but I had to share. Been looking for a nice dagger for a while, I'm not much for fixed blades but I had to have this one. Swapped for this baby today.

Anyone know what years these were actually in production? The tang stamp indicates sometime between 1965-1980, be nice to narrow it down a little more.

If anyone has a line on an original sheath drop me a PM please.

I'm no expert on Case but I happen to have a the same knife you have. Mine has the lightning bolt SS which according to my info was used 1980 to 1989. 1980 had 10 dots and one was removed for each year. Mine has 8 dots so I interpret that to mean it was made in 1982. I bought one of these in the 80's and lost it along the way and just recently replaced it.

Thanks Iman! I think some of the Giraffe bone is on par with the very best mammoth. That one is quite beautiful and I was very fortunate to get it.

Ken, my feelings are not hurt in the least. To some it may be butt ugly and I can see where it might not appeal to a portion of the population but I don't care. I like it. Sucker came paper slicing sharp and I especially like the blade profile and the sheath.

I like that blade Jerry. Looks like it could do some really heavy cutting. I would take that out in the woods anytime.

Got my Possum Skinner today in Elderberry bone. My second GEC in Elderberry bone. I am really excited about the Elderberry bone, they knocked it out of the park on that coloring. The last picture is of the 4 pattern 82’s I have picked up recently.
