Re: ID this handle
I would think Cattaraugus more likely although the only one's I have seen were either plain or had a boar's head in a circle. Still trying to figure that one out!

Re: ID this handle
I have one of those with Cattaraugus, Colonial, and Hammer marks. I've also seen Case, Kinfolks and Tryon versions with the same handles, some with a Circle C and some without. I ran across a hardware distributor catalog ad with a picture of the same knife (although no Circle C on the handle) where the knife was a "Russell" knife and the handle material called "rubberoid".

Re: ID this handle
One big key to identifying hunting knife manufacturer is the guard material. All this type of handle knives made by Kinfolks (Case, Catt, Tryon) will normally have aluminum guards. The Case knives with the Tested XX in the circle will usually have nickel guards when made by Case. I think the steel guard would make it a Colonial product. Same with pocket knives, blade construction and shape can also help ID of hunting knife makers, pics of whole knives help.
