....I have 3 left, but none are in that condition!!...can't remember what I paid for any of mine, but I sure don't want to get rid of them(although the older split-spring whittlers are my favorites)!!!............ ::tu:: ::tu:: ::tu:: .............

  .... actually I did post it long ago Greg :D - maybe before you joined the party here (pg 70 of the Camillus 72 thread)... I really didn’t know it was as coveted a knife to 72 collectors until posting but knew enough to buy it  ...

Yes I am a relative newcomer here. As many times as I've read that 72 thread I should have remembered that one. Beautiful knife! As a matter of fact Christmas Day will be my 3rd anniversary in these hallowed Halls and I've loved every minute of it! ::super_happy::

I have had a lot of 72's over the years. Some were very nice too, but nothing that I would call mint. I sold mine to Greg some time ago. I believe they were as nice as the OP's knife. Looking at all these 72's makes my mouth water! As nice as the OP is its not as nice as he wants us to believe. Fair price? I'd say no myself... Wished I still had one though!

Here's mine I picked up about 4 years ago for 65.00. Not as clean as op knife but a honest old knife none the less.
