Thanks for the link. Unfortunately the museum has been closed for several years now, and the collection sold off and scattered to the winds. There have been several threads about it here in the past.

I knew the museum had closed awhile back but never saw this link to photos... interesting that the Holley knife is labeled as a teardrop jack - it’s no doubt a whittler... hmnnn... in my opinion the worst part of the closure and knives being dispersed was that the counterfeit/fakes on display were also let out the door into circulation..... I still find that totally irresponsible from such an organization...

Actually they did send some of their collection to other museums. The American Cutlery Museum in Cattaraugus, NY received a collection of fine Catt knives and the Warwasing Knife Museum received a lot of NYK knives from the defunct museum at SMKW. What is sad to me regarding the demise of the museum is that folks donated knives for posterity to them and then the knives were eventually strewn all over with many ending up in private collections again.

That's a tough one when you are in Florida; high today in Titusville is 35 degrees.

I was fortunate enough to make it to the National Knife Museum at Smoky Mountain Knife Works back around 2010 during a Case show in September. Going back and not being able to see the displays would probably make me sick.
