3 options that I see.
1. eBay. Take good pictures let the market determine the value.
2. sell here. You’ll have to upgrade your membership and set a value for each one.
3. Find someone who does either of the above and take whatever they offer on the whole lot.
You might have collectors or a bunch of users. Value for 400 pocket knives? Between $800 and $8,000.
Good luck

Re: Any idea what these are worth
Rick, I have purchased a few collections in the past. I paid several thousand dollars for a 400 piece collection once, but most of the knives were in mint to excellent condition. Looking at the photos, I would say that there aren’t many of those knives in mint condition. Condition is very important to collectors. Corrosion, rust, chips, cracks and shrinkage all play into the final value. Where the knives are made matters, USA vs China. I’m afraid you are asking a question that can’t be answered from one photo. I know it’s a lot of work, but you will have to open the knives and photograph each one, front and back and a close up of the tang stamp. It feels overwhelming to takle a task like this but if you want the best value from the collection, you will have to do that. Or find someone near by who will take the time to look at the knives in person and make an offer.Rick frank wrote:Looking to move the entire collection Case Remington Ulster Schrade and many more .any idea what there worth or how to move them. 400+ in all

That's one of those...Where do you start?...with the answers. Knives, like most collectables will vary greatly, based upon collectability and condition. If you were to put the entire lot...with that single picture...on eBay...you might average $4-5 per knife and then there would be eBay fees and Pay Pal fees. If you had time and listed each one individually, with 5-6 good CLEAR pictures, of tang stamps, blades and list lengths of blades. List closed overall length of knife, list evaluation of blade snap (open and closing), list if there is any side to side wobble in the blade and up / down play...you would probably, eventually, get the most money...although that would take some time, with the number of knives you have there. Some knives may only get a few dollars, or be slow to sell. Others may be $50-100 knives.

I'm sure some one with more experience and knowledge on dealing with such a quantity of used knives will come by and offer better help.
Hope you do well with them.

Welcome to AAPK Rick.
Have you considered being a collector?
WOW 400 plus knives have already given you a head start in a fascinating hobby.
Take the one that is most eye appealing to you, research it and go from there. You may get involved in becoming an active member within AAPK?
(Just my opinion).

It was my Dads collection,I can appreciate a nice knife a good peace of steel but it’s not my hobby. If something were to happen to me they probably end up in the trash . I would rather someone enjoy them . I carry a puma every day because he told never be without a good peace of steel in your pocket.

Re: Any idea what these are worth
Rick there are several members here who buy and sell knives. It's going to be difficult to move them all as a group without the buyer being able to inspect them in person or at the very least, view good clear photos as others have suggested. If I may ask, in what part of the country are you located ? Perhaps there's a knife dealer in your area you could link up with.
