doglegg, thanks, I found the Hobo at the Lexington Ky. Knife Show in August. Of all the show I go to, it’s the best ::tu::

Kennedy, Nice old early Tested knife. Just did some reading in a old Knife World on this tang stamp in the oval, on the Tested knives.

Nice! Those without shields were made during or just following WWII. There was a shortage of materials, and shields are non-essential "bling" so what limited knives Case made for the civilian market were made without shields.

Another evidence that the Tested XX stamp was used until at least 1945. ::nod:: ::hmm::

This is the second one I had,I lost the first one after showing it to a collector during the Blade Show.
