A Remington Question, and a Honk Falls

Hi folks! I've got a question regarding this little Remington. It's got the usual Remington etch on the master, but below that is the word master......something else. I can barely make out what I tink are other letters, but i can't be sure, anyone have any idea? Also, I figured I'd throw a shot of a Honk Falls equal end along with a Wilbert pearl to show the striking similarities (aside from some wear and tear on the blades). Napanoch was a maker of Wilberts (for Sears), and it seems Honk Falls had hand in it as well.

there's a Rem. cattle knife with an etch of " Masterknife " on pg. 446, Sargent's Guide to Knives & Razors, 6th Ed.

Also a stockman that looks like your's pat. # R3993 pg. 454. 3-5/8"

Thanks Fran! I never thought of checking Sargents there's a shot of a bullet with same etch as well, font's the same too.

Eric, I see the similarities in the Wilbert-Honk duo. More investigation is in order!!
