I picked up this John Lloyd second hand, but it is a beauty of a knife, even in its' used condition. I picked up some nice knives throughout the year, but this is my favorite of the year.

That one is a beauty Glennbad. I have seen his stuff and never heard a complaint. Quality comes with a price but that is as it should be.
My knife acquisitions have slowed down considerably over the past few years. I still have to buy a few, especially if I find a rare one that I can afford. I can't narrow it down to just one, but these all qualified this year.

This one was quite special for me in 2018, waited a few years for Tom to have time to build it, very busy with the Art Knife Invitational when he was inducted. I find Tom to one of the finest folder makers, and this knife is no exception. A special knife that is even more special when I put it in my pocket.

I bought a Rough Green Trapper that I have been carrying a lot. I don't have a picture yet and the one below obviously isn't mine. Love Trappers! I also recently picked up an LST II that I'm really getting attached to. I've always liked the LST but with the addition of the thumb stud I like it even more. Why they discontinued it is crazy.

The original Buck Stockman (pre-301) made by Schrade for Buck in 1966. I chased after one of these (that wasn’t outrageously priced) for several years. One morning while browsing the AAPK stores (often my budgetary downfall) I spied one that Knifeaholic had for a very reasonable price - solid with only a little wear. I bought it; as soon as it arrived it went to the Buck Spa where their craftsman put it back in nearly new shape for me. This one is in my collection for the sheer enjoyment of ownership - got a bunch more Stockman pattern knives I can use. OH
