Quick Steel,
If it wasn't so far I'd drive over just to look at that one, so, thanks for the extra pictures.

Another Barlow today. This one is a Craftsman blade modified by Dale [Orvet] with some well matched fat stag.

Nice work Dale. And kudos to your stag supplier. That one looks sweet and better than it left the factory.
Felt like red today.

Montanaman, You carry the knives that I dream of owning. I would never carry or use such beauties. I tell myself it’s okay if I do, and then carry one in a pocket sleeve but can’t bring myself to cut anything other than paper w/ them. Then they go into the display case. I love that Boker and have admired that one for many years.

Thanks, I am the exact opposite, I couldn't own these knives and not use them! I don't keep them in a safe, I don't even own a safe.Sharpnshinyknives wrote:Montanaman wrote:Boker today,

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
I hear you SSk. Every knife I own or acquire is in the line-up to go in my pocket & be used. So, I don't have a big pile of knives & to keep it that way I try to sell one each time I get something new, or at least new to me. I have screwed up & bought two or three that look so nice, to me, that I haven't carried them without a sleeve, but I'll still use them. I try to keep in mind that they were all made to be useful no matter how pretty some are. If I didn't have some self-control, I'd add a knife room onto my house & fill it up with so many knives I couldn't look at them all, much less carry them. So, I just tune in to Station AAPK & enjoy your knives.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
Today's Barlow is a well made Henckels with strong half stops and great snap. I like the red bone. Taking on a different Barlow each day is proving very worthwhile for myself as some of these knives I haven't had in hand for a very long time.
