I would bet that isn’t viridis, it’s probably oil from the joint. Case natural bone has a nasty habit of soaking up oil. It’s been discussed on here before. That looks just like some knives I have had that did the same thing. There is no explaining why Case is particularly prone to this but theirs do it more than any others I have seen.
