I finally found a 106 OT that I could afford.
This one has some rust but I will deal with that this weekend.
106 OT 3.JPG
I don't believe this one has ever been used.
AND I KNOW... it has never been cleaned or OILED.

I wanted one of those, Mike. Until I found out what they were going for. Congratulations on finding one you didn't have to be Bill Gates to afford it.

Jerry, regarding your barrel knife: Pontus Holmberg is about the most revered Swedish knife maker (long deceased). All barrel knives are collectible and a P. Holmberg is about top of the bunch. I would wipe a little linseed oil into the wood handle. Good for the wood and the looks.
Mike, very good 106OT, which Schrade called "The Grandad". They are hard to find because only made in limited numbers for 4 years, 1990-1994.
707UH is the stainless Uncle Henry knife with scissors. It has a shackle at the 'bottom' end, attached right through the liners, so no blade at the 'bottom'.
Old Schrade collectors never really quit being a 'Schradite'.

I would like to know how high the price of a 106OT has become. I recall them being about $40-$45.

Went to the post office this morning eagerly anticipating a new batch of junk mail. Imagine my disappointment when instead of receiving junk mail,I pulled this thing out of my mailbox!
