Hartford Cutlery Co
Here is a recent purchase, Hartford Cutlery Co Barehead Jack 3 7/16" long, Iron Rat Tail Bolsters Brass Pinned and lined. Only info I can find (online) is that Hartford was a brand offered by Marshall Wells Hardware, Duluth Minn. Possibly made by New York Knife Co? The tang stamp has an old feel to it style wise. Does anyone have any idea on approx age, maker? Thanks in advance

Great looking old knife. It's funny, whenever I see the abbreviation Co. with the "o" underlined like the tang stamp on your knife, I immediately think of Germany. I wonder if this might be a German import.
