jmh, those naked knives always appeal to me. I like things simple and no simpler than that.

Re: Knives in the Wild
Picture taken yesterday while sitting behind a deadfall moments after sending an arrow under a turkey. Even though I missed the shot it was exciting playing the game for 30 minutes as I watched and waited for one of the six birds to close the gap between us and get close enough to offer me up a shot.
Stag handled LT Wright knife will have to wait for another day to be put to use on some deer or turkey.

Great adventure Sunknife, always good to get out and look at our Lord's creation even when it bests us.
Good pic Tony. That's your first 45 year old picture isn't it. Good shot.

Great picture!! Sorry you missed your shot! I got a feeling you will be using that fixed blade before long!sunknife wrote:Picture taken yesterday while sitting behind a deadfall moments after sending an arrow under a turkey. Thanks doglegg, being out in the woods is a spiritual experience.
Thanks woodwalker, I hope your right about using the fixed blade before the season's end. More likely be a deer if it all comes together, turkey's foil my best efforts every time.

John I hope that little feller comes with a sheath. Otherwise it may disappear through a hole in your pocket.jmh58 wrote:Thanks Floyd!!That knife is a lite weight and disappears in the pocket...

Different day, different picture, same knife. Took this pic where I sat down for lunch while out hunting yesterday. Lot of natural beauty out in the woods to be seen when ya slow down and look around. The pattern of this fungus covering a rotting log was quite striking.
