Re-handle
A while back I picked up a Case Ridgeback (IIRC from Knideahollic) but I didn't really care for the handles. Then someone posted a knife with c-tek scales and well, the rest is history.
Here's what the knife looked like from the maker. And here it is with new c-tek scales.

Re: Re-handle
Very cool and a heck of an improvement on the knife's look...
scales look really close to a "Snakeskin" to me...
if they had a brow/tan color available with the gold lines
pattern like your knife,, whoa,,it could almost pass at glance

Re: Re-handle
Seems like I have seen that material on a production knife before it is quite pleasing. Does some one use that on a regular run knife?

I don't know. I've only seen it once before on this knife-gsmith7158 wrote:Seems like I have seen that material on a production knife before it is quite pleasing. Does some one use that on a regular run knife?

Re: Re-handle
Ken did you do the rehandle work yourself ? It does look good. Love the orange for a hunting knife.

And every fixed blade needs a sheath so today I made this one. Complete with removable belt loop.
