Thanks doglegg, appreciate it. Bomba there's a whole story about it and the acquisition on "Post your new GECs" if you want the whole skinny. But for the knife Gunstock Jack said it was a one off custom. GEC 15 Barlow but taken apart, bolsters and pins customized, aftermarket stag and the job done by Evan Esnyx. He's a custom knife maker, he's on Blade Forums, and he no longer does these custom jobs on GECs. He makes his own stuff. Very limited number out there and all different as far as covers go. Regular GEC blades but that's about it as far as GEC goes. Might be their liners too, but the bolster is modified, pins, scales, etc. Didn't even know this kind of thing was out there, but Gunstock Jack sold me this from his New Old Stock personal stash. Once in a lifetime shot. Glad you like it and thanks for compliments.

I noticed the story about the Barlow in the GEC forum and read it through. Left a comment there afterwards. That Barlow is even more impressive now that I know it's an Esnyx.

Sweet knife, sweet shot gcash, I like that mossy rock, or is that an old tile or brick? Anyway, it looks like a whole miniature ecosystem on that few square inches. Love that one. Calendar shot. Beautiful knife too.
