Bulldog Knives customer service is Great!

Post by Rustle47 »

Last week I received a Bulldog sunfish I had ordered from Buzz Parker's place, bulldogknives.org. The sheephorn handle had a problem, so I emailed them. They said to send it back, they would replace it. Today the new one arrived, and it is a beauty! No questions asked, no hassle, no problem. I can't judge the quality of the knife, can't tell you if it is better or worse than any other, but the service is top notch!

I went to the site listed, it seems most of new bulldogs are celluloid handles, why is that? Im new to collecting so, just trying to learn. Thanks

The blades were medium sharp without the unsightly coarse grind marks I've seen on some Case's. They taper from the spine straight to the cutting edge, no concave section, would that be a flat grind? Very close inspection revealed a tiny bevel on the edge, maybe 1/64" or less. Yes, I've noticed all the celluloid handles. The sunfish seem to be the only ones without celluloid, but the price jumps significately also.
