A buddy of mine has this Robeson 611197 tree pruning jack. I could not find this pattern in any of my price guides. The only book that I could find it in was Tom Kalcevic's second book. "Robeson Collectables and Rarities". Page 34. It states this knife was made 1911-1921. I don't have a copy of "Knives Can Talk".
My question is: Is this a rare knife? How rare?

David, you don't see these very often but I wouldn't consider it rare. I think I have one and possibly two of that pattern. That one is in very good condition and I would value it between $75 and $100. Others might disagree. ___Dave

I agree, a very nice knife, but it's not rare. I sold a very nice one in August.
