Looking for an Eric's Jack

Good luck. I have an Eric's Jack. It is a lovely knife, very pleasing. And i am a 'fan' of Eric's, both his cutlery work and all of the work he has done to help preserve Schrade history.
So i am attached to my Eric's Jack and cannot sell it.
But don't give up hope. Some others might not feel as attached.

I just recently purchased one through one of the AAPK stores here on this site. I felt very fortunate to be able to find one. There were one hundred made, so chances are there's one out there somewhere with your name on it. It just may take a while to find it.

But on a more serious note, I realize I should just wait it out. I have a similar notice up somewhere else, and have the word in with some dealers I know who deal in 'vintage' knives.

O.K. but not very good pictures.
3 5/8" closed. Of all the Traditional style recently made (1960 to present) pocket knives i have, this knife has the most 'soul'. It is the epitome of old time traditional pocket knives.
It might take some time to locate an available Eric's Jack, but i'm sure you will and will be thrilled with it as well.

Eric, have you seen these before?

I'm new at collecting, but this year I have decided to make one of my priorities a focus on Canal Street folders, including the Kabar Dog's Head knives in chestnut. They seem to be appearing less and less in the market or appearing on the secondary market at increasingly higher prices, some at greatly inflated amounts. My focus is on natural materials — stag and wood actually, though a Boy's Knife in G10 may factor in at some point.

yes i guess it was a matter of time. i claimed seconds, and when the buyer decided it was a bit small for his taste, he contacted me and gave me dibbs.

Nice one ! I'm sure you will like it: made by a master cutler with much care to get every one of the 100 just right in all aspects.
It is a 'smaller' knife but not 'too small'. It is more 'just right' for most of us to EDC. And, i like good old 440C, stainless so it will continue to look good, and it gets sharp and stays so as well as 1095 in my limited experience. Limited because i don't have many 440C blades.
Mine is a keeper, never to be sold and i bet yours will be too.
