Thanks for showing the Bulldogs

I would like to thank Hukk & Olderdogs1 for showing some fine Bulldogs on ebay. Some of these have appeared here also, but some I have never seen before, like the 'other' USA made Bulldog. The sowbelly whittlers are shown in the Pocket Knife Trader's book, and described as "one of only two Bulldogs made in the USA" (prior to 2007). The 'other' one is never mentioned, or at least I couldn't find it. Now that I know it is a 4th generation Standing Dog Moose I need to look again. A while back I was able to obtain a genuine 1st generation 3 blade trapper with a broken blade from Olderdogs1. It is an invaluable learning tool now - there is a lot of difference between this knife and what I thought 1st generation was. Yes, it is a project Bryan had put together, I supplied some data and need to get back at it. I will be selling some of it because I need a Titanium knee sometime this year. The Co-Pay is rediculous. Where is a bleeding heart liberal when you need one.

I do plan to keep adding to it whether I have all of them or not. It is a worthwile project. The meds have slowed me down to a crawl, and somewhat frustrated, but it's not forever.

I would also like to get other pictures from anyone who has some down the road. May as well make it big, I won't be this slow forever. Just seems that way.

Hukk that sure is a fine lookin set of knives, it is to bad that you are turning them out, you never know what kind of idiot is going to get them.
Some of us know what you are going through and you have to keep that spark of hope or there is not much reason to do anything.
I am going in to see my third Neuro Surgon in a couple of days I thought I would just ask him top cut the nerv that runs up and down the side of my leg hahahahah

Hay, I am one of those idiots. And a few; have found a home with me, and will be well taken care of. I plan on leaving them to my grandson; along with the rest of my knives, when I kick the bucket. Hukk does have a FANTASTIC collection of Bulldogs; I know that I would hate to part with them. I only have a few so far; but plan on adding many more.

Good Luck with that. As for myself, I've asked the surgeon if he can save the pieces of bone for me, I want to make a personal knife. No answer yet, just a jaw dropping to the floor.

Rusty, no offence taken; I was trying to be funny. I know exactly what you mean; I gave my son-inlaw a nice knife, and it wasn't but a couple of weeks and it was destroyed. I thought that he would put it up; but even if you carry a knife, you can still take care of it.
