I think I stole this Camillus #7 Cam-Lock. It's a really interesting knife with a big flaw that makes it uninteresting to most collectors, but it was perfect to be my first look at a Cam-Lock - and I got it for $10 + shipping, including the leather holster. It looks like someone went to town on this poor blade with a bench grinder that didn't have a tool rest and really messed-up the bevel. I'm sure I can still put an edge on it, but whoever did this was a ham-fisted moron. The Cam-Lock works fine and the handles are in good shape. An excellent addition to my collection of misfits!

Because of the postal holiday on Monday, I wasn't expecting this until Tuesday. I like surprises.

Thanks Gino. At some point, I think I'd like to get the Patriot Blue Kirinite handled edition to go with the other two.

This beauty showed up today. I made an offer on this one and got so nervous waiting for a reply that I went back and paid the asking price

Thanks, I was only asking for $10 off...the last one had sold for more than double the money he was asking. Just wasn't worth the chance. 100 made in MOP

I really like those Case caplifter. I was telling my wife just the other day that I was going to buy those as Christmas gifts for my buddy's. It's only proper since we're always drinking beer together.

Thanks for all the good words. Does anyone know how many series of TCC's were made? Mine's marked 2009 Series 3. One other question, collectors have a nickname for most of the shield patterns...what about this one? footprint ::shrug:: ?

Queen's Farmers Jack.... 100 in Red Winterbottom bone, 100 in Fire Oak jig bone, 100 in Wormgrove Green Bone,100 in MOP, 100 in Mastodon Ivory, 100 in Torched Stag, 100 in Torched Stag w/ATS-34 steel.
Using the T.C.C name they also did a set of Trappers and King Cotton Samplers. The Abalone King Cotton Sampler is good enough to warrant 2 drool buckets

Thanks for this info. Is "ATS-34" marked on these knives ? The Farmer's Jack posted has pearl handles which is one of the options with ATS-34 steel, but it is not marked "ATS-34", so are the blades D2 ?

Roland it's a Vablade t- raptor, I looked on line as I'd never heard of one and one site had them on sale for 99 bucks. It's a well made knife. Duke Dudley design if that means anything to you. Country of origin ::shrug::

This paper came with the Jack. I don't think the MOP was available in ATS-34

In fact, I just found this pic...the knives that have ATS-34 steel have ATS34 on the shield instead of T.C.C. Quality control was a little sloppy on the paperwork...it says ATS43

Ya think? To me it's kinda weak. Case is the worst but also Queen haft so much of the bark off, sometimes you can barely tell it's real stag.
I like the knife though. I think that's my only Farmer's Jack. Fits right in with my "One Of Everything" accumulating philosophy.

Okay, ya caught me, I was just being polite. After all the kind comments I got on mine, I didn't want to leave you hanging. However, I have found some of the smoother stag catching my eye lately. I know what you mean about the hafting...the huge chunks some of the makers take out of stag for a shield is ridiculous as well.
