Thanks my friend, you're too kind. I can't pick a favorite. Not even close. I used to have a few, now I have a few more and am less and less sure that there is ever gonna be one. Homer great bones.
Quick, how in the #$*&! did you figure out how to leave posts with no words? Love it man, would do it once in a while if I could, because I've even tried several times. No dice. You did it man, hats off to you. Great looking spider theme too. Black and red, very nice. Can't believe you got away with that no text bit. Very well and kudos.

Iman,
Kindly overlook my errant ways Efendi. It shall not happen again as I prefer to keep my head upon my shoulders.
I had carried and shown this before thereby thinking...no, not thinking some might not have seen it before. What you have here is a nicely made Rough Rider Stockman. Blades are perfectly centered; all blades have fine half stops. 4 1/4 in. Slanted bolsters, very sharp. Any company would be proud to turn out a knife at this level. It was of course outrageously overpriced at $20.

Happy Appy!
Just upload a pic and hit the "Place inline" button once it finishes uploading. It'll insert the tag for the image into the body of the post but there won't be any visible text, just the pic itself. Hit "Submit" and you're done.Ivoryman wrote:Quick, how in the #$*&! did you figure out how to leave posts with no words? Hmmm, RRider. Is that Chinese then? what kind of steel? I like the spider, and the elbow bands of red. For twenty clams. Hmmmm. Amazing they can even ship it from over there for that price, much less profit. Amazing. And you know I was complimenting you on the textless post right? I can't figure it out. Sometimes it would be nice not to have to write anything. Let the knife and the particular photo speak for themselves.Quick Steel wrote:Iman,

Pulled a Kabar 1108 out of my box, put a fresh edge on the main blade - haven’t carried this one in several years. I believe it is a contract made variation of the Camillus 69. OH

Great totes all!
I prefer medium stockmans, 3-1/2 to 4 inches, but there are times I do carry something a bit more "substantial"

Kris, I see you are putting that new one to work.
Great choice Steve. Always a good choice.
They go good together Iman. Usually I have either one or the other or neither.

Good one doglegg, know what you mean, these aren't really mine either and they're gone now, took 'em to the bank because I owe, I owe, so you probably know. Gotta pay on other things, but it was a rare occasion to have such papers, and very temporary, so I snapped a quick shot before I passed them on to the next person.

When you show out with those gorgeous customs, Montanaman, I sometimes feel like I took a wrong turn at Albuquerque posting some of the junk I'm totin'... That stockman is breathtaking.Montanaman wrote:Out with the sows this morning, Gerber C475 and a Ploppert stockman helping me out. Have a great day folks,
A CV/amber 6375 is exactly what made me a believer in the stockman pattern. It was my most-carried traditional a couple years back. I love that big, beefy sheepsfoot.Steve Warden wrote:I prefer medium stockmans, 3-1/2 to 4 inches, but there are times I do carry something a bit more "substantial"
I think if you wanna get the one on top you gotta give up all those underneath!Ivoryman wrote:On the way to the bank with these.

Tony, Paul, I would probably have those in my safe instead of my pocket. Great bones (and wood too for that mater).
