I had carried and shown this before thereby thinking...no, not thinking some might not have seen it before. What you have here is a nicely made Rough Rider Stockman. Blades are perfectly centered; all blades have fine half stops. 4 1/4 in. Slanted bolsters, very sharp. Any company would be proud to turn out a knife at this level. It was of course outrageously overpriced at $20.

Hmmm, RRider. Is that Chinese then? what kind of steel? I like the spider, and the elbow bands of red. For twenty clams. Hmmmm. Amazing they can even ship it from over there for that price, much less profit. Amazing. And you know I was complimenting you on the textless post right? I can't figure it out. Sometimes it would be nice not to have to write anything. Let the knife and the particular photo speak for themselves.

Pulled a Kabar 1108 out of my box, put a fresh edge on the main blade - haven’t carried this one in several years. I believe it is a contract made variation of the Camillus 69. OH

Nice "slenderino," OH! I believe every one of the Kabars I have with that style jigged Delrin, stamp, and shield are indeed Camillus builds.

When you show out with those gorgeous customs, Montanaman, I sometimes feel like I took a wrong turn at Albuquerque posting some of the junk I'm totin'... That stockman is breathtaking.

A CV/amber 6375 is exactly what made me a believer in the stockman pattern. It was my most-carried traditional a couple years back. I love that big, beefy sheepsfoot.
