New AAPK Members - 9/3/2018 To 9/9/2018

This past week 52 new members have joined the ranks of AAPK. Let's give them all a hearty AAPK ::welcome:: and encourage them to join in on the forum discussions, post pictures of their knives and collections and tell us a little bit about themselves. Membership growth and forum contributions are the life-blood of our online community and I encourage all new members to break the ice with your first post and help make a difference in the most vibrant knife community on the internet! ::handshake::

With so many members, it is sad to realize how many are not active. I usually click on the names of those having birthdays and it is amazing how many haven't been active in years, some only posting once or twice, some for several years then just dropping out.

I agree with you Philip but AAPK is no different than other sites or organizations. My weekly posting on new members is intended to provide a place for "the regulars" to offer a welcome and a place for the new members to post without having to start a new topic.

Since this is only the 2nd week I've done this its hard to evaluate but I have noticed many new members have started new topics.

All we can do is try ::tu::
