I thought I had a preference for more of the dark color in appaloosa bone until you posted that pic of your 54 Ivoryman.:D Man I sure like the looks of that knife with the mostly lighter color.

Agreed Sunknife, I usually go for more color, but this hooked my eye and I couldn't get it out. Even better in hand than seller pictures so I lucked out. Lots of color even in the "white" areas. There are splotches of tan, light yellow, brown, black, gray, lots more color than I first thought. Looks elegant to me and more formal than most of my bone colors IMHO. I couldn't look away. Thanks.

You're welcome, and I didn't notice before but that looks like elephant tusk grain on the H&Rooster. Beautiful. And brass bolsters? Wow, that is a cool knife, how old would it be? And the other is incredible too. Two gems.
