I still had my brain set on that Winchester Black Box Gunstock in another thread. The Trapper you posted. Of course it's Camillus. Camillus also made all of the R-14 Remington 72 clones during that same era 1990s-early 2000s. Duh. Handles are Delrin®.

DAY 6

Not sure if it's bone or Delrin on your Remington by Camillus, bighomer, (I'm guessing Delrin?) but I like the color. So far, you and jerryd are the only ones who've posted anything besides a Case 07, which was one of the main purposes of this thread: to show mini trappers of ALL brands. As for the 3 7/8" size...I have a couple that are that size as well, and the manufacturer still calls them mini trappers, so I feel yours qualifies since it falls within the mini trapper size range of 3 3/8" - 3 7/8", albeit on the upper end.

Eventually, I'll get around to posting some OTC mini trappers, but for today I'm going to return to the red handle theme I started out with because my OCD compels me to post my knives in some semblance of order (imagine that, a disorder that compels an obsession to order).

Note: As with the two single blade Wharncliffe mini trappers I posted on DAY 3, this one also lacks a "W" in the pattern number despite having a Wharncliffe blade. Once again, WHY? It does have a "D" to denote the Damascus blade steel, at least.

John: I'm dying to know what you decided to do with that S&M Series 1 model #51--Safe Queen or EDC? I still have three of them in my collection and just can't bring myself to use any one of them for fear of compromising it somehow (how OCD is that?!). It is one of my all-time favorite mini trappers.

jerryd: That Klaas has one of the more intriguing spey blade profiles I have ever seen on a mini trapper; very distinctive. I've been tempted to pick one up for myself a time or two but something else always seems to grab my eye (and money) before I take the plunge. Great looking handle color...is it bone or Delrin? I've also long been a fan of the Robi Klaas red & black Klaas crown federal badge shield (I wasn't so fond of the kissing cranes logo on the earlier Klaas knives)...it's those little details that when applied judiciously can make an otherwise routine, run-of-the-mill production knife much more aesthetically attractive.

Hot dang! I knew that was from the Keystone Series. That's a real looker. Wouldn't mind having one of those sweet ladies in my stable. Don't you dare stick it in your pocket. Some ladies have way too much class to be rubbing shoulders with the common pocket detritus.

Jtx: The "rules", like all rules, are made to be broken. Besides, you didn't really break any rule other than the one about posting a "matching" mini trapper...which was not a well-considered rule in the first place and has since been revoked in the interest of greater diversity.

The Case 6207 you originally posted is a beautiful mini trapper that certainly deserves to be shown in this thread. Please consider re-posting it so we may all continue to enjoy seeing it.

Q the Remington is Delrin as you suspected and I was looking through some of my trappers and found another at 37/8", E.C.Simmons remake, some kind of wood handles from over there, well under 20 bucks also. I think this is all my minis, but I'll continue to watch this thread hopefully more will show their fine minis.

Nice wood on that one, bighomer. I used to be strictly a bone, stag or ivory man, but lately I find I'm warming up to wood handles more and more. Still not a big fan of synthetic handles; although, I must admit, they do come in some very attractive colors.

Eager beaver jerryd has cleverly utilized the 5 hr. time zone difference between Il & HI to jump the gun and sneak in the first Mini TrapPER DIEM post for Day 7...well played, jerryd..well played; I appreciate your enthusiasm. That's a nice Moor Maker and I am curious as to your thoughts on it. I had a MM until fairly recently. As I recall, there was something about it that I just didn't like, but at the moment, I can't remember exactly what it was. My feeling is that it was probably my first "big" (3 7/8") mini trapper and the larger size didn't feel right for it to be considered a true mini trapper. However, having acquired several 3 7/8" mini trappers since then, I have changed my feeling on the mini trapper size parameters, and 3 7/8" falls safely within those dimensions, albeit at the top end of the scale. What is the closed length of yours? (Appears to be the standard 3 1/2", but in photos with no frame of reference, it's always hard to tell.)

Well, we've reached the end of the first week of this thread and I realized that while my goal in starting it was to diversify and show ALL makes and models of Mini Trappers, not just Case 07s, I had yet to post anything but a Case 07 myself. So, for today's mini trapper I feel obligated to show an OTC (Other Than Case) just so I don't appear biased. (In true OCD fashion, however, I will continue to adhere to the red handle theme that I started out with.)

No offense taken, my friend. Fortunately, my particular type of OCD only affects me; the actions of others (besides my wife, of course) have no effect on me whatsoever...if anything, I find them curious, interesting and sometimes even slightly amusing. Not to say I'm laughing at you for getting up at 3:00 am, but I chuckle because that's not an unusual hour for me to be up myself...I get more stuff done in the wee morning hours before the searing heat of the Hawaiian sun begins to bake my brain and render it as cognizant and competent as a cooked cabbage.
