Always a pleasure seeing the fine knives you carry, I have a soft spot for stockman knives.

I got this one the other day, gave it real "ultra honed" edges and now I'm using it for work. Nice thin blades, very easy to sharpen. This is the way a cheap knife should be, not fancy or the nicest fit & finish but very serviceable, useful and made by an american workforce.

Echo that. Who made it? looks like a Schrade. In their time they made great knives for sure. Can't beat what you said about that one.

It was made by colonial. The standard fare swinden schrades are more upscale in fit and finish than it is, but practical performance is not much different between them.

As always, I love that Imperial cowboy knife... but I gotta know more about that neat-looking doc, big-H!

Is that the 4" stockman? I have the Texas jack built on the same frame. Factory edge (but butter-knife dull), I plan to "ultra hone" it and toss it in a pocket in the near future. Say what you want about Colonial's F&F, that steel cuts like little else can.

Is that Boker/Primble I'm seeing above that Camco?

I wanted to carry the snowshoe again but it's frankly not the most practical knife so I paired it with my trusty AAPK 74.

Looks like it says Frost IMAI , it it's one of my throw in knives, aka a'right Bubba I'll give that amount if you'll throw in that one. It's funny but yestiddy was the first time I'd toted it and man was it dull, I lanskyed it and peeled and sliced a mater for my supper and it did a fine job. Now you fellers talking about them ole cheap Colonials are singing old Biggie H's song. I'll just tote a couple of them 4 inch jacks and a stockman today.
