is this one real???

i cant find anything about it on this site, only yellow and stag handles. they look like theyre jigged weird. and its like new. 6299 jack knife, case. pictures below. thanks for any help guys.

Everything looks good to me. The handles are rough black or "plastag". This material was discontinued in the late 40s or very early 50s I'm pretty sure.

Actually, now that I'm thinking of it... If the XX era started 45 or even later as I'm now thinking it did. The material might have been used for longer than I thought. Anybody know when rough black was discontinued?

That is real and its a beauty......rough black was probably used until the early 50's, but I have never seen it documented anywhere.

its on ebay for 295 or best offer. here it is i dont know what its worth but prolly more than that. i cant afford it but maybe one of you can.
