Thanks Steve, it is a decent knife. Nice covers, but a lazy spey spring, the other two are fine. A good friend gave it to me because he knew that I would use it. For me, a folding knife is a luxury, and a fixed blade is a necessity. The only time I don't have any knife on me, is when I am working on cars, but there is always a Boker candy stripe copperhead and a Spyderco Military M390 on my toolbox.

That Paul Long sheath is a work of art in itself! Paul is an old friend from blade forums. I had him make a sheath for one of my knives and it was absolutely stunning!

Thanks Dale, I would love to see the sheath. Paul is a friend and has made me a number of sheaths over the years.

Thanks, doglegg!
That there's a Case Copperlock, with the raised bolster on the one side and a mid-back lock. Slender in pocket, comfortable and solid in hand. I don't have a lot of Case single-bladers but I really like this one. Got it from an AAPK benefit auction 'round this time last year along with its little brother.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
I have been carrying these three knives for the last week or so.
Top – Kershaw dividend #1812. Made in USA with 420HC steel. This is my new second most favorite Kershaw.
Middle – Kershaw Black Leek, partially serrated,# 1660CKTST. This has long been one of my favorite Kershaws.
Bottom – Henry Sears & Son Jack knife with yellow waterfall celluloid handles. The blades are down a little bit on this one but I have certainly been impressed with its cutting abilities!

Thanks doglegg and Jdub, much appreciated. Had to start a fire this morning to take the chill off in the house, nice cool day with rain ahead. Old trusty is on my hip, probably put a folder in my pocket when I get back in.

Some of them seem a little slow as well. FYI my wife's maiden name was Brown but neither her nor my name is Buster.jerryd6818 wrote:Just saw this. You don't know the half of it Buster Brown. That is a fine looking knife. I am particularly pleased to note that it does not have a lanyard hole.Montanaman wrote:Thanks doglegg and Jdub, much appreciated.
