Thanks fellas. If I had jeans with 2 watch pockets I'd probably carry that Queen Barlow all the time.
You guys know how brass+jeans pockets goes in humid climates... I might just be stuck buying one of those sweet goldenrod Tidioutes for a carry knife.

This Japanese Sabre holds a comically-sharp edge. You all already know the 72 and the Blur.
I am fighting a small internal war about carrying my autumn bone NF 44 which arrived fresh just this morning. It's so purty and I don't want that to change.DM11 wrote:Went with these today.

Was that in the AAPK store? I think I saw it go scrolling by and neeeearly hopped on it - same seller also had another Kutter that I was interested in but I didn't pull the trigger on either. Glad to see it went to a good home and is getting some use!richard wrote:today its the keen kutter 839. thanx to hank (h&h knives)

Carried these 2 yesterday. The little whittler bit my finger pretty good, gotta be quick to keep 'em outta the way when she snaps shut.

Cooler start this morning, should help with a few fires that sparked up over the weekend.

I have the Pen Knife which is very similar to the Whittler. Little peckerwood bit me twice the first week I had her.sunknife wrote:Carried these 2 yesterday. The little whittler bit my finger pretty good, gotta be quick to keep 'em outta the way when she snaps shut.

Homer, beautiful bones every one. Aging well. Jerry, let it bleed. Nice covers rareola, beautiful.
I've picked up this 77 Barlow to slice and dice veggies, peel fruit, and cut most of my chores even when I'm not carrying it that day. If I have a spear like the 15 here on me, doesn't hold a candle to this on veggies or mail or fruit. Starting to consider carrying two knives. Main Spear, Main Wharn. These two do it for me. But I haven't seen a lot of knives with both. Market nitch prime for exploitation.

Jerry, lets agree that I won't tell your mom if you don't tell mine. Here is my EDC. Kershaw Double Cross. Clip and Warncliff blades and both have thumb studs. For a guy w/ diabetes the thumb studs are a must. My fingernails are so brittle that I destroy my thumbnail opening knives. Yes I have a knife pick, but I don’t carry it. So thumb studs work for me.
This one is polished Damascus stainless.

Great looking knives! These two today,
Sean O'Hare Splice and a whittler from Joel Chamblin, both in MIke Norris "Fire Clone" stainless damascus. Mike was a welder on nuclear subs back in the day, he knows welding and forge welding damascus better than anyone I know.
Have a great day folks
