Love seeing that old bone Camillus every time you trot it out. ::tu::

A lot of chat recently about the GEC #44 Gunstocks (and rightly so) But the Queen Cutlery pattern #40 3 1/2 inch Gunstock is pretty classy too - I've been buying up a few S&M and Queen knives now that the factory is Kaput - Slip is Emu Leather
That is one fine looking gunstock! Got me missing Queen again. I carried a Queen and an S&M this weekend in memory of the Queen factory. The knife world takes with one hand as it gives with another, however, because we DID get CSC back. ::ds::
44mag wrote:I don't have a picture at the moment, but I have carried a Case 6318 pretty much every day since the mid 1970's Wore out 2 of 'em, lost 1 and the one I carry now will probably last out the rest of my days. Of course, I still have a few back-ups, just in case. I do have a couple of others that I use for dress use that are thinner, but usually, the 6318 is in the left pocket. Oh, and there is usually an SOG in the right pocket and a Leatherman on the belt. I mean, after all, you never know what sort of need might arise. Right? Folks that aren't knife people don't understand why anyone would spend so much money on a pocket knife. For me it is simple. I carried Queen Steel knives for several years and lost several. Finally figured out that if I spent more on the knife, I was a lot more careful about where I laid it down. Only lost that one knife since. Makes sense to me....... Have a good day, All.
::welcome:: to AAPK, Bruce, nice to have you and your 6318! ::handshake:: I appreciate hw handy it is to have a Leatherman strapped to the belt, although I'm still riding the original Supertool (albeit in a new sheath). Even though I carry some pretty odd-looking modern folders most days, I still can't get used to the new-look Leathermans like the Skeletool. Sure, they all probably blow away my old Supertool but at least mine looks more like a tool. ::rotflol::

You guys are the worst influences. I think I'm fighting a losing battle with that goldenrod bone 44 and I don't know if I can wait for my NF reservation to finally arrive... ::disgust::

That's a mighty fine pic to me. I love that Case chestnut bone. Now I see what I missed out on focusing on GEC's new stuff all last year. ::smirk::

2 reworked beauties. Really nice horn on both. What frame is that Case jack?

Just another mango Monday for me. If I'm not careful this trapper's going to surgically attach itself to my left thigh.

Sunknife that UN-X-LD bone is fabulous. Great jigging too. And the photo.
Thanks Ivoryman, I had it awhile but that may have been the first time I pocketed it.

I'm carrying these two yesterday and today, bloodwood & rosewood.

Two lovely reworks. If you are the person who did all that, you've got some serious skill! ::tu:: Even if you had it done you've got an eye for horn.

Is that a jack in a 090 frame? Those "pretty bone" Cases are always right in my wheelhouse. ::ds::

Same trapper, different jack today.
