It looks like the stamp might say "Case XX U.S.A.". Does it have the "U.S.A." mark under the "Case XX" mark? If so, then the knife would date from 1965 through 1969.
You're right....I know that too.

How do I find out about the shows you guys are talking about ?1967redrider wrote:I just picked these two up at the Harrisonburg show for a price I couldn't refuse. 1974 6111 1/2L and an XX 6217 loom fixer.
Got a question, do you think the XX 6217 is bone or red bone? Both are unsharpened but the loom fixer does have a little spider web on the back of the main blade, no biggie though. Thanks for your thoughts!

You'll see info about most of the bigger shows posted here in the forums. For shows close to you just Google knife shows.Miketokar wrote:How do I find out about the shows you guys are talking about ?1967redrider wrote:I just picked these two up at the Harrisonburg show for a price I couldn't refuse. 1974 6111 1/2L and an XX 6217 loom fixer.

Re: Newest Case Pick-Ups
My newest Case acquisition, a 652-5 made sometime between 1934 and 1964. Red Bone handles, chrome-plated blade. Non factory sheath but it works. Just a beautiful old knife. Had to have as soon as I laid eyes on it in an AAPK store. Posted elsewhere too.
