another new to me knife. clauss(in cursive) over fremont, ohio over u.s.a.. pre 1940. 3 7/8" closed. pattern 84.

hey cope, don't know what kind but they are wood. no cracks in very good shape.

Another great score Johnnie! ::nod:: I had never heard of Clauss before. Somewhat limited info in Goins.

clauss had case and schatt & morgan make some of their knives. i'm studing this one to try and determine if it is one of their own manufacture or a contract knife.
