Schrade Walden 165
Found this old schrade Walden at the flea market with a busted handle. Blade was full but had some light rust pitting on one side but I figured I'd try an give it a new life. Put Sambar stag scales with peened brass pins and made it a new sheath.

I really like that. I am thinking about replacing the handles on an old Imperial drop point fixed blade. I wonder if there would be a market for old blades w/ new handles, made from nicer scales than the ones they came w/? This knife makes me think this would be a really good idea after seeing this one.
Great job.

EBM , that looks good. Those scales seem to match the old look of the knife and that sheath is exceptional. Great job.

Sheath and knife look great, good way to bring new life to some old steel.
