SCHRADE WALDEN PEACH SEED

Would anyone with the knowledge of how these handles were made please tell me what the process was, what was involved in the production.
Sometimes after a bad day I can sit down and let one slip through my fingers and kinda twirle it in and out, it is not very long before I feel a lot better, and after 42 years of smoking Camel non filter cigeretts, I have not had one since august 9th and it takes nothing to make a bad day.
I can do the same thing with Stag to but it is not quite so subtle.

I know nothing about the process of jigging bone but I get the same relaxation from fondling my knives. It doesn't have to be one of the mint ones, either! I get the same effect from fondling one of the old ones I use at my desk to open mail and clean fingernails.
As a former smoker and chewer, I can really identify with your problem. If it helps, I can tell you that the cigarette problem eventually disappears. I found it much more difficult to quit chewing. I would start back if I felt like it wouldn't eventually kill me.
So fondle away, Oldsmoke!! It is very theraputic!!

George Schrade invented the machine that did the peachseed jigging some time ago. I wish I could see that machine, and watch it operate.
Peachseed is one of the most beautiful patterns of jigging.
Congratulations on quitting tobacco, both of you!! It takes grit!!

Since gringo is just learning what Peachseed is, I thought I'd put up some more examples. These were posted a while back, but seem appropriate here.
I never know what order they will come up. One pic is all Schrade Waldens, and the other is Schrade Cut. Co.s, with 4 Waldens in the upper right. I think you'll see what I mean.

Leave it to Upnorth to produce some exceptional examples, I am indeed envious of your collection.
My misspent youth I ran with a number of bike gangs, the El Foresteros, the Sons of Silence, Bandidos, Hells Angels.
You do not get to collect a lot of possessions doing that and then 24 years of over the road trucking does not leave you much room to carry a lot of stuff either.
As for the quitin the cigs, last night I had a dream that there were giant cigs chasin me and I had a big lucifer match in my hand.

Dec. 9th was my last one and I am still

Had a heart attach day after thanksgiving

Stagman I have picked up some nicotine gum and every once in a while I will chew on one of those and it does help, that little skinner sure is pretty.
How did you happen on to that one??
