Rapala Filet Knife restored w/ Linseed Oil

I received this small version Rapala Filet Knife yesterday and had to do something to make it , well, better....

Sanded off the old cracked varnish and applied a coat of linseed oil for the new owner.....whoever that will be!!

Looks good to me. I think I had one of those when I was a kid. Don't remember what happened to it either.
